The MK-V Orthrus Bi-directional Flow closed-loop extractor is designed for the experienced extractor seeking to maximize yield. With both a solvent input at the bottom of the column and at the top, this closed loop system ensures that your material will be well rinsed or saturated.
The system comes with high-pressure clamps throughout the system and a tri-clamp ball valve (for saturation).

- 1 x 6" x 12" Tri-Clamp Welded Bottom Base
- 1 x Pre Assembled 6"" bi-flow lid
- 2 x Stacked 3"x 24" Material columns with reducer & top cap (column format may vary)
- 1 x 3" Tri-Clamp filter plate kit
- 1 x 1.5" Solvent input manifold

Optional Upgrades:
- System Valves: Upgrades standard valve to Ham-Let, SSP or Swagelok brand name valve
- Base: Upgrade base to jacketed base and jacketed platter. More efficient for warm water baths and raising pressure prior to recovery.
- Recovery Tank: This upgrade changes the standard #15 Carbon Steel LP tank with either: #30 Stainless Steel LP or a #25 Jacketed Stainless Steel Tank w/ Internal Condensing Coil.
- Dewaxing Column: This upgrade replaces the standard spool with its dewaxer counterpart. The sleeve is packed with dry ice to freeze the material and stop the waxes and lipids from being pulled down into the collection base.
- Inline Sight Glass: Adds a 1.5" Inline short sight glass kit. This is used to see solvent drop from the material column into the collection base.
- High Pressure Clamps: Standard throughout system.
