Hermetically sealed Fossa scroll vacuum pumps with fully dry compression are ideal for pumping air and conveying gases without leakage or contamination of ambient air. The low noise and vibration levels make Fossa vacuum pumps particularly suitable for use in specific places, such as laboratories.
Thanks to their extremely low noise and vibration levels, these pumps can be installed directly in the workplace, for example in research laboratories.
The design of Busch scroll vacuum pumps ensures completely dry and reliable compression. The metal bellows and the gaskets ensure the seal between the pumped fluid and the ambient air, which prevents any contamination or leakage of process gases. This hermetic design allows Fossa scroll vacuum pumps to be ideally suited to gas recovery or noble gas pumping systems. They are the ideal solution for helium leak detectors, coating systems or supports for turbo molecular pumps. Equipped with an air ballast valve, these vacuum pumps have exceptional suction and treatment capabilities processes.
The intelligent management of the three modes of the frequency converters makes it possible to benefit from long maintenance intervals and significant energy savings: "normal", "boost" for unparalleled pumping speed and "idle" for incredibly low noise and vibration levels.
Without a shaft seal and with bearings lubricated for life, the Fossa vacuum pump requires very little maintenance. Maintenance is limited to replacing the end seals of the spiral, a task that the user can easily do on site without having to use special tools.
