Cascade Dry Ice Trap Fill the internal stainless steel reservoir with a cold slurry mix of ice/ alcohol/ dry ice and set inside the larger steel vessel. The cold surface of the trap attracts and condenses material that would otherwise be ingested by the vacuum pump.

Cold traps extend the time between vacuum oven rebuilds and oil changes. With this style of a cold trap, the cold is provided by filling the interior reservoir with ice. No additional mechanical refrigeration or power is required.

Cascade also provides large KF-25 size inlets and outlet for the trap. This does not impede vapor flow.
