CRY+™ Filter Media for BHO Extraction (BHO)
CRY+ is our largest granule size. With a mesh size of 16-x30, this media provides operators with the flexibility to run high-flow processes while still maintaining a consistent quality output.
CRY+ is our highest-flow filtration media, built with larger granules to process challenging biomass quickly and efficiently. Designed for high-throughput extraction systems, it offers exceptional flow rates without sacrificing terpene and cannabinoid retention. Ideal for dark or oxidized material, CRY+ delivers consistent color remediation at scale—no clogging, no prep, just results. Recommended solvent ratio ranges from 6:1 to 10:1, offering flexibility across different extraction setups.
Technical Specs:
Use with a 4-6” diameter CRC column for best results.
Recommended operating pressure: 20-45 psi.
Media ratio: 200-300g per 1 lb of biomass.
*A needle valve is recommended on the output (bottom) of the filtration column to properly fine-tune your flow rates. If you are processing dark or oxidized material, a tighter flow restriction will increase residence time, allowing for better color correction. We have these available for sale.
Larger Granule Size (16–30 mesh): Enables faster flow and minimal pressure drop.
Precision Control: Use with a needle valve to fine-tune residence time for optimized color correction.
Cold-Compatible: Performs reliably at room temp or as low as -10°C with no clogging.
Flexible Performance: Effective at 20–45 psi; recommended ratio: 200–300g per lb of biomass.
Run-Ready: No baking or prepping—just load and go.
